Singer - Songwriter - Guitarist   Performer

Julie. B was born and raised in Chapleau, ON.  Her interest for music had started to show a young age.  When she was eleven, Julie had started signing in a small choir for the Roman Catholic Church.  At the age of sixteen, while working at Wakami Lake Provincial Park, she picked up guitar to accompany herself and as a aid to write music.  Local talent shows and open mics had become her new passion.  As her interest for music continued to escalate, she attended school for music at Cambrian College in Sudbury where she majored in voice.  During this time, she was in bands such as Intrinzik (backup vocals) and Backseat (guitarist and vocalist) and even participated as a chorus member for the Cambrian Theater.  In November of 2002, she began recording her debut album "Maybe in Another World..." which was finally released in September of 2003.  Julie is currently residing in Ottawa and is currently the lead singer for the new classic rock band, Black Cherry.  She is also a voice and guitar teacher.
